Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the Hubi mobile app provided by Emir Biçeryen ("Hubi", "we"). By creating an account you accept these terms, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. The Turkish version prevails in case of any difference.
1. What Hubi is
Hubi is a platform for people with shared hobbies to find each other, send invites, chat, share community posts and events, and build teams. Hubi is not a dating app.
2. Who can use Hubi
- You must be at least 16. If you are 16–17 you can only interact with users in your age group, and your parent or guardian should know before you create an account.
- You must give accurate information; entering a false date of birth is a serious breach of these terms.
- If Hubi permanently removed you before, you may not create a new account.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. If you think someone used your account, change your password and tell us.
- Email and password accounts must verify their email address.
- You may not transfer or sell your account or create one for someone else.
- You can delete your account any time in Profile → Settings → Delete my account.
4. Your content
- You keep the rights to the photos, posts, comments, messages and other content you share.
- So that Hubi can work, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable licence, limited to providing the service, to store, process and show that content to the relevant people in the app. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for legal retention duties and report records.
- You are responsible for making sure your content doesn't infringe anyone's rights (copyright, personality rights, privacy).
5. Rules and enforcement
We may remove content that breaks the Community Guidelines and warn, temporarily restrict, suspend or permanently close accounts. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. You'll be told in the app when a decision concerns you. To appeal, write to info@hubiiapp.com.
6. Meeting in person
Hubi does not verify users or check identities. Meeting people you found on Hubi is entirely your decision.
- Meet in busy, public places the first times.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going.
- Don't share personal details such as your home address or financial information.
- If something feels wrong or dangerous, block and report the person, and call emergency services (112 in Turkey) if needed.
You are responsible for taking part in sports and physical activities in a way that suits your health and for taking the necessary precautions.
7. Paid features
- Hubi is currently free; there are no paid features or purchases in the app.
- If paid features (such as a Premium membership) are added later, they will be offered through the App Store or Google Play. Price, scope, renewal, cancellation and withdrawal information will be shown before purchase, and these terms will be updated.
8. The service and changes
We may add, change or remove features to improve Hubi. We can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We announce important changes in the app.
9. Limitation of liability
Hubi is not directly responsible for users' communications, meetings or content. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. intent and gross negligence) or your consumer rights.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may close your account without prior notice for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts are competent for consumer claims; for other disputes, the courts and enforcement offices of Gebze (Kocaeli).
